The PTNA Public Concert Series, inaugurated in 2010, has reached 100 times in the end of last year. The key concept of this long-lasting project is to record "a variety of piano pieces", including unknown or less performed works, and has already recorded 994 pieces so far. All of them are placed on PTNA Piano Encyclopedia. In order to introduce them, pianists try to shape the program with unique and interesting concepts. For instance, Rintaro Akamatsu will cover Bartok's Mikrokosmos in three sessions consisting of lecture and performance. Aki Kuroda and her colleagues will play all the Scriabin's piano works in memory of 100th death anniversary of the composer, while Shinya Okahara focuses on Schubert' works in a series of "Schubertiade".

This recording project also aims to diffuse Japanese compositions. Haruhi Hata and her colleagues will launch a series of concert specialized in this concept, and will perform works of Toshio Hosokawa "Nacht Klänge"(1994/96), Jo Kondo "Click Crack" (1973), Atsuhiko Gondai Diesen Kuss der ganzen Welt" (2011), etc in the inaugural session in May. Other series will feature piano works of Takashi Yoshimatu, Akira Miyoshi, etc. by several other pianists.
