This special masterclass was inaugurated in 2006, in order to give study opportunity for young talents. Welcoming world renowned professors as guests, young pianists have advanced their own musicality and comprehension (guest professors; 2005:Boris Petrushansky, 2006: Tatiana Zelikman, 2008: Kang Choong Mo, 2010:Chong-Pil Lim, 2012: William Grant Naboré).

One of the professor of musical analysis class, Prof.Kazuhiko Koyama, gave analysis workshop twice in 2006 & 2012. He observed as much performances as possible at maseterclass and final concert, and was pleased to hear them advanced after they had better understandings of music and its structures.

This masterclass has also brought opportunities to exchange with other pianists of the same generation and consider their future career as pianists. Shiori Kuwahara (photo above), who won the Best prize at Jr.G Grade in 2010, took part in the Jr.G masterclass in 2010 at the last year of junior high school. She spent those 2 days with lots of joy and musical excitement that helped her decide to concentrate in music at high school. Three years later, she was awarded the Silver Prize in Grade Superior in 2013.
