Ryota Yamazaki (15) becomes the youngest Grand Prize Winner!

Mr.Ryota YAMAZAKI (15) is awarded the Grand Prize and the audience prize at the final round of the Grade Superior! He is the youngest winner ever for this grade (no age limit). He played Prokofiev's piano concerto No.3 with Japan Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by maestro Chikara Iwamura at the final round on 21st. You can watch the whole performance here.

The silver prize is given to Ms.Mayaka Nakagawa, who played Prokofiev's piano concerto No.2! You can listen to the 1st movement by clicking here.

The bronze medals go to Ms.Kaoruko Igarashi and Mr.Tomoya Umeda. Their performances will be coming soon!
