110128top.gifPTNA offers members various opportunities to "play", "listen","learn" music, and "communicate" with various musicians.  Those factors are indispensable and interacted each other in the process of becoming better teachers and musicians.  This time we would like to introduce what we have been doing in the recent years, to improve their listening environment.

enc_naxos.jpgIn collaboration with Naxos Music Library , an internet service providing 200,000 audio crips, PTNA members are free to hear any music on its list. We have our own information system called PTNA Piano Encyclopedia, which contains database of over 20,000 piano pieces and audio/videos are partly available on PTNA Youtube Channel. The most popular composer is Frederic Chopin on this encyclopedia, that obtains 70,000pv/month on average. We also introduce performance audio/videos once a week on the PTNA website ('Piano Piece of the Week'). We welcome pianists of all nationalities to offer audio/videos as indicated on the pianists' name list. Besides, recording concert series was inaugurated last year to record the live performances and share them online.

Service for little children is also provided, like 'Piano Encyclopedia for kids'.

Besides live concerts and recitals, those online audio services are expected to keep music at hand and make use for music learning.
