PTNA, founded in 1968, became incorporated in Japanese Government in 1985. Being organized independently, PTNA has been developing its membership and extending ranges of activities in partnership with schools, universities, enterprises, concert halls, etc.
Mr.Idei, representing one of the worldwide private companies, and Mr.Hata, a member of Diet who has been deeply rooted to the public sector, are the two symbolic figures of private and public power.

Now, 73 members of board of directors will be in charge of leading the new trend of music education in Japan.
