"Workshops for Comprehensive Musicianship" 2014 Program is Announced

A series of "Comprehensive Musicianship Workshops", started in 2010, announces its new program for 2014. This monthly series consists of 10 lectures led by different lecturers, that enables participants to learn music from various perspectives. Here is the program;

 


(1)  4/24 "The Close Relationship Between Language and Music" (Akira Imai /pianist & professor)

(2)  5/21 "Intensive Learning of Repertoires of PTNA Piano Competition" (Sachiko Ishida/ composer) 

(3) 6/18 "Talking about Kyoto Symphony Orchestra" (Junichi Hirokami / conductor)

(4) 7/23 "An In-depth Study of Contemporary Music" (Yumiko Meguri/ pianist, professor)

(5) 9/3  "What is the Role of Concertmaster?" (Fuminori Shinozaki / violinist)

(6) 10/15 "How Publishing Companies Work Today?" (Masatoshi Kameda / publisher)

(7) 11/20 "The Value of Music Colleges and its Possibility in the Future" (Tokihiko Umezu / journalist & president of music college)

(8) 12/17 "Piano Works of Mozart" (Bin Ebisawa / scholar)

(9)   2/5   "Do You Listen to Your Sound Carefully?" (Michiko Hihara / voice instructor)

(10) 3/26 "Notes of Brahms" (Shinchiro Ikebe / composer)

Each lecture will be held between 10:30-12:30 at the To-on Hall (Tokyo) and e-learning service is also available afterward (PC/ iphone).
