This is organized in collaboration with Kioi hall (Tokyo) where he has been giving recitals for complete Beethoven sonatas from 2008. He will give masterclass on Oct. 4th, in between the solo recitals on Oct.2th and 14th.

Two chosen students are Tomoyo Umemura who has just become the grand prize winner of PTNA Piano Competition 2010(VTR:Beethoven Piano Concerto No.5 Op.73), and Tomoki Sakata who won the Yasuko Fukuda prize in 2009 (VTR:Rachmaninov Moments musicaux Op.16-2). They will play Beethoven sonata No.13 & No.21.

The collaborator, Kioi hall, is one of the prestigious halls in Japan with 800 seats. Concerts are programmed and arranged by Nippon Steel Arts Foundation, which also gives prizes for young artists every year.
