musse_renewal.gifThe on-demand publishing service, Musse is renewed from June. Now it enables to reproduce the color printing of the original texts/scores, as well as to produce the new editions with multiple colors.

It is proved by a new publication "Study Scores for J.S.Bach Invention", written by Yasuko Nakayama (ex-vice president of PTNA, professor emeritus of Tokyo University of Music and Fine Arts), which has just come out from Musse.

musse_bachinvention.gifHer theory is not only rely on the personal/subjective musical approach, but also put great importance on the understanding of composer's ideas and stylistic studies. Thus she launched a series of concerts titled "Tradition and Styles" in 2002, and also began to note the knowledges and thoughts upon this theme. The collection of notes has been used for her students, and now it is to be shared by wider public.

Prof. Nakayama is the only Japanese pianist who studied with Walter Gieseking, and has dedicated herself in the develoment of piano education in Japan.
