After graduated from Conservatoire National Superior de Music de Paris in 1953 with premier prix (prof.Lazare Lévy), she has studied in Zurich, Berlin and Moscow. In 1958 she won the 1st prize in "Maria Canals" International Musical Execution Competition and made her debut in Japan in two years later. In 1970 and 1977, her serial recital of All 32 Beethoven Sonatas (Tokyo) established her reputation. She has also played in France, Italy, Switerland, Germany, Czech, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, and China. She performed several Japanese works abroad, including world premier of 2nd piano concerto, "Fantasy of Joruri" by Yutaka Makino, 2nd piano concerto by Mutsuo Shishido.
