PTNA launches a new online service that introduces recommendable music scores, with brief commentary on pieces and performance videos. It aims to give ideas on teaching and performance, as well as to explore new repertoires.

<Akira YUYAMA - Pieces for Piano> (ZEN-ON Music Company Ltd.) is the music that we focus on this week.  YUYAMA made a number of pieces for children, such as "The Children's Land (1967)","Sonatine of Sunday(1970)", "Suite Sweets(1974)", "The Children's World(1977)".

<Pieces for Piano> is a collection of 34 small pieces, which targets those who complete elementary level of etudes. Students can learn various styles, from Baroque to French Impressionism, and also Japanese contemporary music.
Thanks to the cooperation of music publishers, information will be updated twice a month.
